About the Role

Gemcon Engineering is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring that projects are delivered according to quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor construction activities on project sites
• Review architectural and engineering drawings
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule
• Assist with BOQ, estimation, and material requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues
• Prepare project progress reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and construction standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects
• Good understanding of construction processes and site management
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple project requirements and deadlines
